North Jersey Man Sexually Assaulted Child
The man admitted to sexually abusing a child under 13 years old.
WARREN COUNTY, NJ — A Warren County man has admitted to sexually abusing a child, according to prosecutors.
On Thursday, Victor Torres, 60, of Hackettstown, pleaded guilty to several charges related to the sexual assault of a minor.
Prosecutors said the sexual abuse took place in 2022 when the victim, who knew Torres, was less than 13 years old.

Torres pleaded guilty to three counts of aggravated sexual assault, two counts of sexual assault by contact, and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.
He is tentatively scheduled to be sentenced in July or August. Torres faces up to 25 years to life in prison.
