North Jersey Woman Dies After Two-Car Crash in Florida
Minivan, pickup truck collided Thursday; one woman died Friday night.
One of three Hackettstown residents injured Thursday in a Florida car crash succumbed to her injuries Friday night, family members told Patch.
According to Ocala.com, Virginia Gomez, 57, was seriously injured as a passenger of the minivan, and her daughter, Madelaine Gomez, 25, and her daughter, Melaney Colon-Gomez, 5, were both injured but in stable condition.
Virginia Gomez succumbed to her injuries Friday night, her niece told Patch.

The minivan was traveling eastbound on East State Road 40 in Ocala, Florida, when it tried making a left turn onto Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, the report said. At that time, the van collided with a pickup truck pulling a trailer heading west on the road.
The truck’s driver was uninjured.
