Blast Weekend Carnival Returns to Hackettstown

Police issue traffic advisory, parking restrictions for weekend event.

The Hackettstown Business Improvement District's Blast Weekend Carnival is this weekend and local police want you to be prepared for traffic conditions and restrictions.

Sgt. Darren Tynan of the Hackettstown Town Police Department said that traffic delays due to the carnival are expected on Willow Grove Street during the following times: Friday from 6-10 p.m., Saturday from noon-10 p.m. and Sunday from noon-5p.m.
 
Police have instituted temporary "no parking" zones for the following streets:

  1.  Both Sides of Willow Grove Street
  2.  South Side of Connie Terrace from Willow Grove Street to Hurley Drive
  3.  South Side of Cindy Terrace from Willow Grove Street to Hurley Drive
  4.  West Side of Hurley Drive from Louis Lane to Richard Drive
  5.  North Side of Pine Street from Willow Grove Street to Christopher Street
 Sgt. Tynan added that any vehicles parked in the no parking zones or on private property without permission will be ticketed and/or towed.
