Princeton, NJ – March 5, 2019 – The Princeton-Blairstown Center (PBC) welcomes Maren Morsch to the role of Communications and Special Events Manager.

Maren comes to PBC with nearly a decade of experience working in various roles across the parks and public lands sector, serving most recently in the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation. Her strong commitment to serving youth through experiential education, experience in event planning and social media, and breadth of experience across non-formal education platforms for diverse audiences make her a unique resource for PBC. Maren holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and Environmental Studies from The College of New Jersey and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Public Administration from the Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service at New York University. Additionally, as lifelong NJ native and current Warren County resident, she brings to PBC both a local perspective and a variety of community connections.

As Communications and Special Events Manager, Maren will be responsible for spearheading traditional and new media outreach, drafting marketing and promotional materials, and coordinating and executing fundraisers and other special events. She will also ensure that the mission and work of PBC is captured and shared with both its stakeholders and the public. In addition, Maren works closely with the Director of Development & Communications to help build infrastructure for fundraising, grant writing, and special projects.
