Hackettstown Police reported the following activity, including criminal mischief and warrant arrest.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — The following actions were reported by the Hackettstown Police Department:
Warrant Arrest
On Oct. 5, Hackettstown police arrested a Newark man on a municipal court traffic warrant. Wilfredo Velazquez, 42, had a $324 warrant for his arrest, police said. Velazquez posted bail and was released afterwards.

Warrant Arrest
On Oct. 6, Hackettstown Police arrested a Mansfield Township woman on a Belvidere municipal court criminal warrant. Joelle Byrne, 28, had a $148 warrant for her arrest, police said. Byrne was released pending a court appearance.

Criminal Mischief
On Oct. 7, Hackettstown Police responded to a call at the Hackettstown Medical Center in regard to an aggressive patient at 1:19 a.m. Officers arrived to the hospital and observed Micahel Pelliccio, 30, of Mansfield Township, smashing the wall and door of the hospital room with a chair, police said. The officer also noticed medical beds in the room were flipped over. The officer tried to place Pelliccio under arrest, but he would flail his arms and try to pull away from the handcuffs, police said. Eventually, officers placed Pelliccio in handcuffs. Pelliccio was charged with criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, and was released pending a court appearance.
