Schools' Strategic Planning Session Pushed 6 Weeks
Hackettstown school district announces new day for second community meeting.

Hackettstown Public Schools next strategic planning meeting has been moved back some six weeks as the district continues to find ways to work more efficiently.
The meeting, originally scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 28, has been moved to Thursday, April 11 at 7:30 p.m., according to the district's website.
A third strategic planning session has been scheduled for May 9 at 7:30 p.m.

The first strategic planning meeting of the year took place at Hackettstown High School on Jan. 31, where Superintendent Dave Mango outlined a slew of ideas regarding the future of the district.
Some of those ideas comprised of the selling of school buildings and expansion of others, along with heightening security for students.
