Signed Receipt Led To Weed Arrest In Hackettstown: Police

The man denied the joint was his, police said, but his signature was on it.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — A Hackettstown man faces drug charges after police found a joint rolled with a receipt barring his signature on the hood of his car, Hackettstown police said.

Police pulled Guillermo Ramos-Infante, 54, of Hackettstown over during a traffic stop. Police say he got out of the car, walked to the front, and then got back in the car.

According to police, they found a joint rolled using a receipt in the front of the car. Ramos-Infante denied it was his but police said it had his signature on it. Police also found a burnt joint.

Ramos-Infante was charged with possession of marijuana, expired drivers license and failure to stop at a stop sign. He was released with an upcoming court date.
