2 State Troopers Hurt In I-80 Crash, All Lanes Closed

KNOWLTON, NJ— Two State Troopers sustained non-life threatening injuries after being in a car crash Thursday afternoon, New Jersey State Police said on Facebook.

Around 1:55 p.m. the two troopers were involved in an accident on Route 80 westbound in Knowlton, around mile marker 4.

Both troopers were taken to an area hospital for treatment, the Facebook post said.

All lanes of Route 80 are currently closed with a detour in place, according to 511nj.org, and there is a 35-40 minute delay.
