Slugging Stretch Gets Cyclone Player of the Week
Centenary shortstop nearly unstoppable on the diamond for second straight week.

Joe Forcellini has had an impressive two week stretch.
So impressive he was named the New Jersey Collegiate Baseball Assocation Division II/III Player of the Week for the second consecutive time.
Forcellini's efforts have been nothing short of unstoppable. In his latest five game stretch, the sophomore hit .565 with 13 base knocks in 23 at bats. He made the most of his time on the base paths too, scoring seven runs.

Among those 13 hits were seven for extra bases, including four doubles, two triples and a homerun, according to Centenary College.
Forcellini added three walks and hit safely in each of the five games. On the other side of the diamond, the shortstop was flawless in 25 chances on defense.

Of the six players named to Player of the Week in the 2013 season, Forcellini has accounted for two of them.
