These Hackettstown's Street Will Be Closed For Road Paving Next Week

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — Motorists and residents should prepare for road paving work scheduled for next week in Hackettstown.

The road work will take place on Monday, July 13, and Tuesday, July 14 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Hamilton Drive between Fifth Street and Countryside Drive
  • Fifth Street between East Prospect Street and Hamilton Drive
  • East Prospect Street between Route 46/Main Street and Fourth Street

On Tuesday, July 14, crews will complete any remaining work on East Prospect Street, pave the Municipal Building parking lot at 215 West Stiger St., and resurface the full length of Monroe Street. Work on Monroe Street may continue into Wednesday, July 15, if necessary.

Residents are reminded to remove all vehicles from streets and driveways by 6:30 a.m. each day if they plan to use them during construction.

Access to driveways will be restored once daily work is completed and barricades are removed. Road closures will be in effect around the work zones.

Officials noted that the paving schedule is subject to change due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
