Town Of Hackettstown: Looking For A Coordinator To Assist Hackettstown Seniors In Need Of Assistance

The Municipal Building receives phone calls on occasion from senior citizens asking for assistance with certain things that they are not able to do themselves.  Because of this, the Town is looking for a person, agency or group willing to volunteer as the point of contact for our resident senior citizens needing assistance.  This person/agency would coordinate calls received from seniors needing help with specific jobs such as yard work, shoveling snow, grocery shopping, etc., and dispatching volunteers, agencies or groups willing to donate tier time and services to help out.  Please contact our office if you are interested in volunteering as a coordinator or would like to participate in volunteering your time to assist our senior citizens when they are in need.
