Verbal Argument Ends In Stabbing: Hackettstown Police

The argument ended in someone being stabbed in the shoulder, police said.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — A verbal argument in Hackettstown ended in a stabbing early morning on Monday, police said in a statement.

Police were called to the 700 block of Washington Street around 12:40 a.m. Tuesday morning for a report of an injury. The victim was outside, holding their shoulder (police did not specify the victim's gender).

After an investigation, police arrested Jaime Stollenmaier, 20, of Hackettstown. He allegedly stabbed the victim with a knife after a verbal argument.

The victim was taken to Hackettstown Medical Center, and Stollenmaier was charged with fourth-degree aggravated assault, third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon. He lodged in the Warren County Correctional Facility.
