
Ed Rossi, a prominent businessman and community leader, will serve as the commencement speaker for Warren County Community College’s graduation ceremony May 16 at 10 a.m.
The college enrolls about 3,300 students and is nationally recognized for its drone, robotics, and AI programs, as well as its workforce training and nursing education, which prepare graduates for in-demand careers or transfer to four-year institutions.
A Warren County native, Rossi earned his business degree from Villanova University and built a successful career in the automotive industry. He owns Rossi Chevrolet GMC and Rossi Chrylser Dodge Jeep RAM, both located in Washington, NJ.

He has received multiple General Motors Mark of Excellence awards, as well as the Time Magazine New Jersey Quality Dealer of the Year Award in 2010. He served on the executive committee of the New Jersey Coalition of Automotive Retailers from 1995 to 2007, including as chairman and chairman of its Insurance Trust. During that time, he was also a board member and chairman of Wholesale Auto Supply Company. He was a member of the New Jersey/Hunterdon County board of Team Capital Bank.
Rossi has been deeply involved in community service for decades. He was named Warren County Chamber of Commerce Businessman of the Year and received the Boy Scouts of America Jenny Jump District Distinguished Citizen of the Year award.

He is a past president of the Rotary Club of Washington, a founding member of the Washington Business Improvement District, and a member of the St. Luke’s Warren Board of Trustees, where he served as chairman from 2022 to 2025.
He has supported numerous local organizations, including Abilities of Northwest New Jersey, Habitat for Humanity, DASACC, and The Arc of Warren County.
He and his wife, Patti Sue, have been married since 1977 and have four children and four grandchildren.
