Watch Hackettstown Officer Have 'Close Call' With Tree Limb

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ - During the height of Tropical Storm Isaias Tuesday the Hackettstown Police Department responded to more than 40 calls for service, but one was particularly memorable, according to authorities. And caught on video.

Those 40 calls included downed wires and trees, flooding, power outages, activated alarms, and trees that fell on vehicles and homes. In the video below you can see one officer had a close call with an errant tree limb while responding to an electrical fire.

"Thank you to our first responders and DPW for their assistance during the storm," Hackettstown Police Sgt. Darren Tynan said.
