All Hackettstown Public Schools are closed Monday, Jan. 28 due to inclement weather, according to the school district's website. An overnight layer of snow and ice forced the schools to make the call just after 6 a.m. Monday. This is the first day classes have been completely canceled due to weather since Hurricane Sandy and its aftermath. Regular bell schedules are expected to resume Tuesday, Jan. 29.
