$1,000 Reward for Information in South Jersey Cold Case Homicide

The reward is for information in the death of 26-year-old Camden man Andres Camacho III.

The Citizens Crime Commission of Phildaelphia is offering a $1,000 reward for anyone who can provide information that leads to an arrest and conviction in a cold case homicide.

The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Camden County Police Department released surveillance video of the suspect in the case on Thursday.

Andres Camacho III, 26, of Camden, was shot multiple times outside of the Estevez Grocery Store located at Berwick Street and Marlton Pike in Camden on June 9, 2006.

The surveillance video, which is attached to this post, shows the victim exit the store shortly before 9:45 p.m. on that night and walk around the side of the building.

Moments later, the suspect is seen walking in the same direction as the victim. The video then shows the suspect running from the area of the shooting.

The case is now being investigated by the Camden County Police Department’s Cold Case Squad, a unit comprised of investigators from the county police force and the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.
