2 Motorcyclists Killed In Separate Crashes In Same South Jersey County: Police
The deadly collisions occurred only 12 hours apart, authorities said.
CUMBERLAND COUNTY, NJ — Two motorcyclists died in separate crashes Wednesday in Cumberland County, officials said.
In the morning, a man sustained fatal injuries after their motorcycle hit a minivan in Fairfield Township, according to State Police. That evening, a woman was ejected from her vehicle in Upper Deerfield Township, authorities said.

State troopers responded to the first incident at 9:48 a.m. on Route 49. A Honda motorcycle was traveling west on the roadway when it crossed the center line, entering the pathway of an eastbound Honda minivan, according to the preliminary investigation from police.
The motorcycle operator — Nester Rodriguez Jr., 38, of Millville — sustained fatal injuries, said State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron. No other injuries were reported.

Upper Deerfield Collision
Troopers then responded to a crash at 8:34 p.m. on Route 77 in Upper Deerfield Township.
According to initial findings, a Chevrolet passenger vehicle was traveling southbound while a Honda motorcycle moved north. The Chevy then turned left into a parking lot, resulting in a collision, Lebron said.
The motorcyclist — Angel Alicea Jr., 46, of Bridgeton — was ejected and sustained deadly injuries, police said.
Both crashes remain under investigation.
