2015 is the year to overcome your fear of public speaking!

Resolve to Overcome Your Fear Of Public Speaking with Camden County Toastmasters

WORKSHOP DETAILS:
Glossophobia Begone!
Presented by the Camden County Toastmasters Club
Tuesday, January 20, 2015 @ 7pm
The Church of Our Savior, 204 Wayne Avenue, Haddonfield, NJ 08033

Maybe you’re one of those people who would rather jump out of an airplane than speak in front of a crowd. If you suffer from glossophobia—also known as fear of public speaking—the Camden County Toastmasters Club (CCTMC) can help you overcome that particular type of terror, which afflicts nearly 75% of the population.

On January 20, 2015, the CCTMC Vice President of Education, Anthony Simeone, will conduct an educational workshop called “Glossophobia Begone!” The presentation, a free workshop open to both visitors and club members, will help you identify the fears that trigger your anxiety and give you techniques for managing it.

“The good news is glossophobia, like any fear, can be confronted and overcome,” Anthony said. “With practice, you can develop your ability to control your fear. In fact, you can learn to use that ‘nervous energy’ to actually enhance your speeches.”

“As we kick off a new year, this is the perfect time to resolve to become a more confident speaker,” said Julian Espinoza, President of CCTMC. “This is a great opportunity to learn how to communicate better in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, and to find out what Toastmasters can do for your speaking and leadership skills.”
