$3 Million Reconstruction of East Atlantic Avenue Bridge to be Finished This Summer

The bridge connects Audubon and Oaklyn.

The $3 million reconstruction of the East Atlantic Avenue (CR 729) bridge connecting Audubon and Oaklyn Boroughs is expected to be completed by mid-August, Camden County officials said Thursday morning.

The project includes the removal of the structurally deficient bridge that had been under weight restrictions since June. The new span will include improved roadway and sidewalks on East Atlantic Avenue on the Oaklyn and Audubon approaches to the bridge.

The exact timing of the project is dependent upon the weather and other factor.
