Bakery Just Shuts Down Out Of Nowhere In South Jersey

HADDONFIELD, NJ "Cacia's," the bakery that has called South Haddonfield home for two years, has closed permanently, according to the business listing on Google.

It's unclear what day they officially shut the doors, but the property with equipment at 26 S. Haddon Ave. is now listed for sale at $495,000.

The location is described as a "fully renovated restaurant" and deli layout.

The team behind Cascia's has not said why they've closed, and still list its Haddonfield contact information and store details on its website alongside its Cherry Hill location.

The bakery relocated from Audubon to Haddonfield in 2024 and stocked a full lineup of bread, sweet treats, pastas, pizzas, soups, salads, and more.

The closing of the Haddon Avenue location was made roughly 16 months after the bakery in nearby Blackwood also shut its doors.

The family has been a staple tenant of bakeries in the region for generations in and around South Philadelphia.
