Bancroft Property Designated as Area in Need of Redevelopment: Report

Haddonfield, NJ -- The Haddonfield Borough Planning Board voted unanimously to declare the Bancroft property an area in need of redevelopment on Tuesday, NJ Pen reports.

The property owner didn’t protest or endorse the designation, according to the report. Developer J. Brian O’Neill has proposed building an inpatient center on the property.

The recommendation now goes before the Borough Commissioners, who will take action at next Tuesday’s meeting, according to the report. A formal redevelopment plan may go before the planning board next month.
