Bike Program for Individuals With Disabilities Comes to Gloucester Township Thursday

The iCan Bike Camp takes place Thursday morning, 11 a.m.

The Camden County Division of Programming for People with Disabilities is sponsoring a camp to teach people with disabilities how to ride a two-wheel bicycle on Thursday in Gloucester Township.

The iCan Bike Camp takes place at the Gloucester Township Recreation Center, 80 Broadacres Drive in Gloucester Township, Thursday morning, 11 a.m.

“Our goal is for the program’s participants to discover the skill and joy and riding, and become lifelong independent riders,” Camden County Freeholder Ed McDonnell, liaison to the Camden County Division of Programming for People with Disabilities, said. “This achievement, in turn, creates a gateway of opportunity, helping them gain assurance and self-reliance in many other aspects of their lives.”
