Girls Night Out - a great idea that was poorly planned.

I realize that I'm just another complaint in a world full of complainers but, I find it interesting that Haddonfield scheduled Girls Night Out on the same night that most Mom's can't participate - back to school night.   I'm disappointed.   We make sure to participate in the business community events and this time it felt as if we'd put out a lot of effort for a fizzled event.  I just looked on Kings Hwy and it's 8:15 and it's still VERY QUIET!   This place should be hopping!  Despite our great offers, the refreshments, the spread of  hors d' oeuvres, the emails, mailers, and telephone calls many of my customers have told me that the reason they can't attend is "back to school night".   Perhaps before the district plans an event a perusal of the local calendars might be in order?
