Is There Good BBQ in South Jersey?
I can't seem to find a really good local BBQ joint on this side of the river. Help me out!
I like quality barbecue -- specifically a nice pulled chicken or pulled pork sandwich, although some brisket or ribs aren't bad either.
The problem has always been finding these things in the region.
I bring this up now because I recently went to the relatively new Little Louie's in Collingswood, only to leave a tad disappointed (here's my review on Yelp). And that's after other recent letdowns at Bassett's BBQ in Audubon (now closed) and Wildfire BBQ in Stratford.

I'm sad to say that my favorite barbecue in the region is probably Red, Hot and Blue at the Cherry Hill Holiday Inn. Sad because it's a chain, and I'm a big fan of shopping local when I can.
That said, they (usually) have excellent pulled chicken sandwiches and tasty fries, along with a tasty mild sauce and a nicely sweat-inducing hot sauce. Yeah, I've had slow service there a few too many times and a couple bones and/or cartilage in the sandwich ... but it's still better than most everything else I've experienced on this side of the river.

But maybe you know better. So I'm asking you: Where can I go for some quality BBQ around here? Help me out!
