Flag Day Celebration and Community Concert This Sunday, June 14th @ 3:30 PM at Hopkins Pond Gazebo, Haddonfield
Sunday in the Park! The Camden County Parks Department's new gazebo in Pennypacker Park will be the venue for a Flag Day celebration and community concert sponsored by Haddonfield American Legion Post 38. The gazebo is in the Hopkins Pond section of the park, corner of Grove Street and Hopkins Lane. Scouts will lead those in attendance in the Pledge of Allegiance, the Borough commissioners will present a Flag Day proclamation, and the Haddonfield Community Philharmonic and Marching Band Society will present a concert of patriotic music. Free. All are welcome. Take folding chairs or blankets. Free flags!

Silver Diner

There is no better way to celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary than at Silver Diner’s annual 4th of July Breakfast Car Show, taking place on Saturday, July 4 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Silver Diner (2131 Route 38 in Cherry Hill). Attendees can enjoy an impressive display of classic, custom and specialty vehicles before heading inside the diner for breakfast. Whether you're a car enthusiast or looking for a fun way to start your Independence Day celebration, this family-friendly event offers something for everyone. The event will be held rain or shine.
Cars, trucks and Corvettes of all makes and years are welcome. The entry fee is $20 - no pre-registration is required. Registration will take place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and judging will immediately follow. The first 200 cars to register will receive a free t-shirt. An award ceremony will take place at 12 p.m. – just in time to make it to your next celebration. 
The 4th of July Breakfast Car Show is sponsored by the Delaware Valley Old Goat Club.

The&nbsp;fifth summer Underground Railroad Youth Camp&nbsp;hosted by the Lawnside Historical Society will examine the secret network to freedom through crafts, visual arts, poetry and multimedia.
The free camp is funded by a grant from the New Jersey Arts and Culture Renewal Fund, Camden County Cultural and Heritage Commission, a partner&nbsp;of the New Jersey&nbsp;State Council on the Arts. Students who will be in sixth through eighth grade are invited to apply. Meals and snacks will be provided.
This summer’s program will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.,&nbsp;Monday, July 6 to Friday, July 10, 2026, at the Democrat Club, 361 E. Charleston Ave., Lawnside, NJ.
