Camden County Library System Offers Homework Help
The library offers free access to tutor.com for cardholders, among other services.

The Camden County Library System is offering timely homework help for students and parents for the upcoming school year.
The library will offer cardholders free access on its website to the services of tutor.com, the library announced Tuesday morning.
Students and adult learners can get one-on-one online tutoring to help with their homework questions at http://www.camdencountylibrary.org/tutor.

Kid’s Zone is a special section on the library’s website that includes homework help in a variety of forms for younger students.
It is available by visiting the library’s website and clicking on “Using the Library.”

The Kids Zone menu includes a link to the Homework Help page, which provides access to a variety of websites that are great sources of information for students and parents.
The page also offers a link to Ask a Librarian service by email, telephone or onsite at one of the library’s eight branches: Bellmawr, Gloucester Township, Ferry Avenue (Camden), Haddon Township, Merchantville, Cruz-Perez (Camden-Downtown), South County (Winslow Twp.) or Voorhees.
Searchasaurusis one of the resources available on the homework help page that enables students and their parents to search thousands of articles. It has an online general encyclopedia and an animal encyclopedia that offers a lot of information about animals from around the world.
Searchasaurus, it is an animated interface with a dinosaur theme that encourages young researchers to develop their basic search skills. The Homework Help page also offers Primary Search, a database geared to finding age-appropriate magazine articles for children.
Some of the sources on Kids Zone like Searchasaurus require a barcode number found on the back of any valid library card, but many of the online sources do not require a card and are accessible from any Internet connection at www.camdencountylibrary.org/homework-help.
The Teen Space is a special section on the library’s website that offers, among other features, homework help from a variety of resources that are organized by different subjects, including nearly every high school subject from poetry to geography to math.
Resources marked as “Subscription Database” require a library card while others are accessible to anyone on the Internet.
Another useful tool on the site are Subject Guides or PathFinder links that clue visitors into all the resources about a given subject that are available at the library through books, articles and related websites.
Teen students can also use the Ask-a-Librarian service by email, telephone, online or onsite at one of the eight branches.
