Damon was fatally shot on the 700 block of Morgan Boulevard. He was dead when police arrived at the scene.
The shootings are among six shooting murders recorded within one week.
“With the recent spate of gun violence, the highest priority of Camden County law enforcement and its partners was to stem the violence and bring those responsible to justice as quickly as possible,” Thomson said. “The message is clear to those who decide to pull the trigger of a gun on our streets, you will feel the full weight of law enforcement and we will not rest until you are in custody.”
