Carz N' Toyz Donation Provides Much Needed Medical Equipment to the Osborn Family Health Center Pediatric Program in Camden

For Immediate Release

CAMDEN, NJ - Local nonprofit Carz N’ Toyz recently presented Lourdes Health Foundation a check for $5,000. The money will be used to purchase medical equipment for the Osborn Family Health Center Pediatric Program in Camden. Carz N’ Toyz President Sam Lacroce said, “ We asked the folks at Osborn what they needed to better serve the children under their care. The doctors and staff responded with a detailed list of important monitoring and diagnostic equipment that will greatly enhance the hospital experience for the children. This, of course, is our mission.”

The list includes a defibrillator for emergency use, a table top Pulse Oximeter to help safely monitor children getting nebulized for asthma, and a pediatric vision tester which provides complete vision diagnostics under a variety of conditions.

Steven Fox, MD, President, Lourdes Medical Associates expressed his thanks to Carz N’ Toyz, “Lourdes Health System is deeply appreciative to Carz N’ Toyz for their generous donation to purchase medical equipment for use at the Osborn Family Health Center Pediatric Program. The equipment will aid greatly in providing 15,000 pediatric visits a year to very low income families in Camden and the surrounding areas.”
