Celebrity Chef Fabio Viviani Heats Up the Kitchen at The Evergreens in Moorestown
The Evergreens®, one of the premier continuing care retirement communities in the Philadelphia area, recently welcomed Celebrity Chef Fabio Viviani – Top Chef “Fan Favorite” and owner of the wildly popular Siena Tavern in Chicago and So-Cal restaurant Café Firenze – to their campus. Residents were treated to a sampling of Viviani’s recipes and were invited to sample wine from the Fabio Viviani Wines collection.
“We were thrilled to host such a charismatic culinary talent like Chef Fabio at our community,” said Doug Halvorsen, President and CEO of The Evergreens. “It is a real honor to have such a highly respected chef engaging residents through this interactive cooking demo and program.”
Working in collaboration with executive chefs from The Evergreens’ culinary service partner Flik Lifestyles, a member of Compass Group North America and division of Flik Hospitality Group, Chef Viviani visited The Evergreens community as part of the Celebrity Chef Series. Through this special series, celebrity chefs travel around the country preparing delicious meals and holding cooking demonstrations featuring fresh, wholesome ingredients for various communities. As an extension of the visit by Chef Viviani, The Evergreens will also hold Fabio Fridays at the community in the coming weeks – select days for the community’s Dining Services department to feature some of the special recipes and meal items developed by Chef Viviani specifically for Celebrity Chef Series.
