Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Voorhees Celebrates Week of the Young Child

Students participated in themed educational activities throughout the week of April 24

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Voorhees celebrated the national initiative Week of the Young Child by participating in several educational activities throughout the week of April 24. Chesterbrook Academy planned a different theme for each day of the week. On Monday, students created musical instruments. On Tuesday, they cooked tasty treats for snack time. On Wednesday, each class created a unique flag to represent their classroom. On Thursday, students created custom frames and drew family portraits. On Friday, students wrapped up the week by enjoying a snack with their families in their classrooms.

Week of the Young Child is an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) celebrating early learning, young children, their teachers and families. For more information, visit www.naeyc.org/woyc.
