Claudine M. Leone, Esq. Presented with the New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians' President's Award

The New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians (NJAFP) recently presented Claudine M. Leone, Esq. with the President’s Award at the NJAFP’s Annual Scientific Assembly in Atlantic City.

The NJAFP, the largest primary care medical specialty society in the state, is a leader in health care reform, advancing the cause of the family physician and drafting legislation that improves the health care system statewide.

The President’s Award is presented to an individual who provided outstanding service to NJAFP over the course of the outgoing president’s term. Outgoing NJAFP President Krishna Bhaskarabhatla, MD, presented Leone with the award for her 20 years of exemplary service to NJAFP.

Leone is an attorney with over 20 years of experience as a government and regulatory affairs consultant. Since 2001, she has served as principal of her own boutique government affairs consulting firm where she provides policy and advocacy representation to clients in Trenton, Prior to that, she worked in the government affairs division of Jamieson, Moore, Peskin and Spicer, now part of Pepper Hamilton, LLP, and as a contract lobbyist at Princeton Public Affairs Group, Inc.

Leone earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and international business from Northeastern University in Boston and a juris doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in South Orange. She currently resides in Moorestown with her husband and two sons.
