Creating Kissing Balls for the Holiday Season

"Creating Kissing Balls for the Holiday Season" with Elaine Shaughnessy at the monthly Horticultural Society of South Jersey meeting

This informative program along with the annual holiday party will take place on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 7-9 pm. Before there was mistletoe, there were kissing balls. Popular during the colonial days in America and Victorian era in England, kissing balls were hung in archways, doorways, and even outdoors as part of a home’s winter holiday decoration. It will also be the annual Holiday Party. For a list of items to bring to make the kissing ball and for more information, visit the website: www.hssj.org. The event will be held at Carmen Tileli Hall, 820 Mercer Street, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002. Both the program and party are free and open to the public.
