How much did Haddonfield pay for the upgrade from concrete to paving stones on the Potter Street traffic calming "island" for left turns onto Ellis Street?
This changeover in the road surface is supposed to "calm traffic" as it approaches the Potter Street & Ellis Street intersection. Rarely is seen a vehicle driving around this cobblestone change in the road surface. Instead, hundreds, if not thousands of vehicles daily just simply drive over this "improvement".
So, why did the Borough, in this joint County and State major road reconstruction, spend money on cosmetics that have zero impact?
