He told the dispatcher Brendan Link Creato, the 3-year-old Haddon Township boy who was discovered near Cooper River on Tuesday, was wearing red pajamas. He said the door was locked, and wasn‘t sure if the boy had “wandered out.”
A woman can be heard yelling for the boy toward the end of the recording, obtained by the Inquirer on Wednesday.

Earlier in the day, Camden County Prosecutor’s Office spokesperson Andy McNeil said an autopsy of Brendan Link Creato’s body has been conducted, but the cause and manner of death remained uncertain.
The autopsy was conducted on Tuesday.
“Even today this is a very, very active investigation,” McNeil said Wednesday afternoon. “We appreciate everyone’s patience in this matter.”
Police have been questioning David Creato, among others.
Creato has been living in the apartment building on the 100 block of Cooper Street since February or March, according to the report. He attended Camden County College, where he majored in addictions counseling. He attended the school from fall of 2011 to spring of 2014.
Neighbors told 6 ABC that his son was the most important thing in David Creato’s life. They also expressed concern over whether or not there is a ”maniac on the loose” in the area.
Creato and the boy’s mother, Samantha Denoto, don’t live together. Brendan Creato was staying with his father Monday night, and was last seen being dropped off around 9:30 p.m. Monday night.
His body was found around 9 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Denoto released a statement late Tuesday night. The statement can be read here.
