Dog Walk to Benefit Camden County Animal Shelter Sunday

The Pledge A Paw 1kDog Walk is noon-4 p.m. at Camden County College.

The Pledge A Paw 1kDog Walk to raise funds for improvements at the Camden County Animal Shelter is this weekend.

The walk takes place Sunday, Oct. 12, noon-4 p.m. at Camden County College, College Drive and Peter Cheeseman Road in the Blackwood section of Gloucester Township.

“I invite your whole family out for a day full of entertainment, games and a walk to benefit the animals of the Camden County Animal Shelter,” Camden County Freeholder Michelle Gentek, liaison to the Camden County Animal Shelter, said. “Don’t forget to bring your dog because this day is all about them.”

The day will feature local rescue groups, area businesses and animal related exhibitors/vendors. There will also be animal demonstrations such agility challenges, canine games and contests.
