Double Shooting Kills Man In Camden: Prosecutor

The living victim is in stable condition, authorities said.

CAMDEN, NJ — Two men were shot, including one who was killed, Saturday night in Camden, authorities said.

Police received a ShotSpotter alert at 10:19 p.m., reporting gunfire around the 1600 block of Mt. Ephraim Avenue in the City of Camden. Arriving officers found two people suffering from gunshot wounds, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office (CCPO).

Police took both victims to the hospital in a patrol vehicle. Algie Harmon, 32, of Camden, was pronounced dead at 10:43 p.m. Saturday. The second victim — a 43-year-old Camden resident — is in stable condition, the CCPO said Monday afternoon.
