Drugs and Weapons Seized Following Raid of South Jersey Home

Two people were charged after police recovered over 5 ounces of cocaine, more than $32,000 in cash, various pills, 2 handguns and a shotgun.

Two Pennsauken residents have been charged and over five ounces of cocaine, more than $32,000 in cash, various pills, two handguns and a shotgun were seized following a raid at a Pennsauken home Thursday morning.

Barbara Greenridge, 55, and Leroy Johnson, 43, were charged with first-degree possession with intent to distribute cocaine and other offenses, Pennsauken Police Chief John Coffey and Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo said on Friday.

They were also charged with endangering the welfare of a child after officers learned a 2-year-old boy was living in the residence.

The complete list of charges is as follows:

  • Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine (Over 5 Ounces) (1st degree)
  • Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine (2nd degree)
  • Endangering the Welfare of a Child (2nd degree)
  • Possession with Intent to Distribute Oxycontin (2nd degree)
  • Possession with Intent to Distribute Oxycodone (3rd degree)
  • Possession with Intent to Distribute Xanax (3rd degree)
  • Possession of a Firearm During Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) Offense (2nd degree)
  • Possession with Intent to Distribute CDS in a School Zone (3rd degree)
  • Possession of CDS (3rd degree)

Greenridge and Johnson were remanded to the Camden County Jail with bail set at $400,000 each.

The raid was executed by members of the Pennsauken Police Department and Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Suburban Narcotics Task Force following a lengthy investigation.
