Information is provided by a press release from Camden County to Patch.
Each year, Camden County’s Special Household Waste Collection Program keeps over 400,000 pounds of hazardous material from the county waste stream. Camden County residents are asked to keep the environment healthy by bringing oil-based paints, solvents, thinners, pesticides, herbicides, gasoline, kerosene, polishes, photographic chemicals, automotive batteries, antifreeze, brake fluid, transmission fluid, other car products, pool chemicals and cleaning fluids to convenient drive-through disposal sites.
