False Alarm Prompted Police Response To Haddonfield Elementary School

School activities resumed as normal once law enforcement determined the area was safe.

HADDONFIELD, NJ — Police responded to a Haddonfield elementary school Wednesday morning for what turned out to be a false alarm, authorities said.

Officers reported to J. Fithian Tatem Elementary School at 9:42 a.m. for an activated alarm. Following security procedures, police determined that it was a false activation.

School activities resumed later Wednesday morning as normal, once police ensured that the area was safe.
