Fire Heavily Damages Haddonfield Home
2 firefighters sustained minor burns but didn't need hospital treatment.
HADDONFIELD, NJ — A fire significantly damaged a home and burned two firefighters Tuesday night in Haddonfield, officials said.
Haddon Fire Company No. 1 was dispatched at 11:39 p.m. to the fire at 582 Jobel Dr. Arriving crews observed heavy fire from the first floor and heavy smoke coming from the second and third floors.
Firefighters searched the home and confirmed it wasn't occupied.

Crews placed the fire under control at 12:38 a.m. Wednesday, with help from nearby communities' fire departments. Two Cherry Hill firefighters sustained minor burns but didn't need hospital treatment.
The home's first and second floors were significantly damaged, officials said. The Camden County Fire Marshal is investigating what caused the blaze.

The Cherry Hill Fire Department, Westmont Fire Company No. 1, Lawnside Fire Company, Haddon Heights-Barrington Fire Department and Audubon Fire Department assisted at the scene. The Somerdale and Oaklyn fire departments covered for Haddonfield firefighters during the incident.
