Fun Facts: Haddonfield Demographics and Population by Age
Fun facts about Haddonfield, population by age, and households.

Below are some tidbits that may be interesting. As of the 2010 census, Haddonfield's population was just under 11,600 people.
- There are roughly 4,400 households.
- The average household has 2.6 people.
- About 1,600 households (or 36% of all households) have children that are school age.
- There are about 2,500 students enrolled in Haddonfield public schools. Students make up 21% of the town's population!
Some interesting notes:
- We can see that we average about 180-190 children at each school year age.
- Once students become young adults (age 19-34), the average population drops to about 80 for each age.
- We see a bulge in population again -- for ages 35-64 -- back to the 160-200 range.
- Population per age drops off as age increases from 65 and on. However, we maintain a healthy population of people aged 65 and more: about 1,750, or 15% of our population.
Thank you for reading. I am running for the Haddonfield Board of Education and have a background in finance and analysis. With always-increasing needs, and limited resources, I think that my skills can be useful for the BoE and community as we plan for the future. Decisions have to be made and I would help to make open-minded and informed decisions for the better good of our children, our schools, and our community.
Thank you,
