Gala Dinner and Golf Outing to Benefit Garfield Park Academy
Willingboro Private Non-Profit School to Host Fundraising Event
Westampton, NJ- The Fourth Annual Eugene Morse Memorial Gala Dinner and Golf Outing will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at Deerwood Country Club in Westampton, NJ. Funds raised through the event help support the work of Garfield Park Academy, a private non-profit school that serves children and teens with learning, social, and behavioral disabilities.
“Our event is dedicated in honor of my father, Eugene Morse, one of the founders of Garfield Park Academy, in celebration of the enduring positive influence he had at our school,” said Dr. Steven Morse, Superintendent. “Last year’s event was a resounding success and we hope that this year’s event — our fourth in his honor — will be another fitting tribute to his life and work.”
Deerwood Country Club features a “Carolina Style” course that capitalizes on the natural beauty of adjacent wetland and wooded preserves, with a pond or preserve coming into play on a number of holes. The course is as visually stunning as it is challenging. Skill contests with prizes include longest drive, closest to the pin, and more. A $25,000 prize will be awarded for a hole-in-one. Following the day on the course, golfers will enjoy the Gala Dinner, with a silent auction featuring unique sports memorabilia and other great items. Golf registration of $150 includes greens fees, cart, lunch, cocktail hour and the Gala Dinner.

The Gala Dinner will be held in the beautiful Deerwood Clubhouse, renowned for its fine cuisine and service. Dinner only tickets are $50 and include cocktail hour with an open bar, hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, dinner, awards celebration, silent auction, and a DJ.
