Get Fit For A Cause with the 2014 Burlington River Run

On your mark, get set, go! Whether you are a new runner looking for your first 5k or a seasoned athlete looking to achieve a personal best time, the 2014 Burlington River Run on Saturday, November 1 is a must for those looking to exercise while supporting their community. Proceeds from the 5K USAT&F Certified Race will benefit the Rotary Club of Burlington, the YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties and Doane Academy’s Community Service Group.

The race starts and finishes on the campus of Doane Academy, located at 350 Riverbank in Burlington. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the race begins at 9 a.m.

The course is a flat, officially sanctioned 5K course along the beautiful Delaware River and through the historic neighborhoods of the City of Burlington. Registration is $20 before the event and $25 the day of the event. T-shirts are provided for all participants while supplies last - register early to guarantee a t-shirt! Awards will be provided to overall top finishers (one male and female), and first, second and third place finishers (male and female) for various age categories. Refreshments and door prizes will be available from local businesses.
