HADDONFIELD, NJ — A 6-year-old girl and an adult were reportedly injured during a multi-alarm fire at a house in Haddonfield at about 5 a.m. Wednesday morning. They suffered minor injuries in the fire early Wednesday, 6ABC reports.

The man sustained burns to his leg, while the child suffered minor burns, NBC 10 reports. They were being treated at Cooper University Medical Center in Camden, nj.com reports. There were four people in the home who all made it out safely. Six people were displaced by the fire, according to NJ Pen.

The man and the child were injured when they attempted to escape out the front door, the Courier Post reports. The fire began outside the home, and spread due to the vinyl siding, which burns quickly when it heats up. There were also live wires that the fire departments responding had to deal with while combating the blaze, which was contained after about an hour.
