Haddon Patch 4th Of July Fireworks, Parades And More: 2018 Guide
Haddonfield and Haddon Township both have fireworks shows and parades to celebrate Independence Day.

Haddonfield and Haddon Township have set the dates for their respective Independence Day celebrations.
Haddonfield’s Yankee Doodle Do is set for Tuesday, July 3, 6 p.m. There will be fireworks, live music, food trucks, bounce houses and more. Fireworks are set to go off at 9:20 p.m. There is a suggested donation of $20 per family.
Haddon Township’s Happy Birthday America celebration is set for the same night, Tuesday, July 3, 7 p.m. at the Haddon Township High School football stadium. Fireworks will go off at dusk.

Haddonfield’s Fourth of July parade is set for Wednesday, July 4, 10 a.m. There are categories for babies, tricycles, big wheels and bicycles (ages 6 and under, ages 7 and 8 and ages 9 and older.) There's also a Dress Up Parade, Children's Groups of Floats, Neighborhood Groups and Floats and Organizational Groups and Floats. Registration is on the driveway between the Presbyterian Church and the Masonic Temple, 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Children will muster on the Central/Middle School field behind the church. Family, neighborhood and organizational groups and float will muster on Chestnut Street between King's Highway and Lincoln Avenue. These groups must register that morning in order to be judged. Other groups will be given participation ribbons at the lineup.
There is also a category for antique cars. The owners should register at the table in front of the Episcopal Church and then muster in the parking lot at the PATCO High Speed Line. Registration is 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
The parade will kick off at the Corner of King's Highway and Chestnut Street at 10 a.m. and continue to the Haddonfield Memorial High School. The announcements of winning groups and floats will be made at the high school at about 11:30 a.m.
Haddon Township’s Independence Day parade steps off at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 4. It goes from the municipal building to the Crystal Lake Pool. Registration begins at 10 am in the municipal building’s parking lot. There will be free hot dogs, water and land games at the pool.
