Haddon Township Boys', Haddonfield Girls' Soccer Teams Land Top Seeds in Playoffs
Playoff matchups were announced this week. The playoffs begin on Monday and Tuesday.

A week after handing West Deptford its first loss of the season, the Haddon Township High School boys’ soccer team was named the top team in Group 1.
Haddon Township nabbed the top seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 1 playoffs, and will host No. 16 Salem in the first round on Tuesday, Nov. 5, according to brackets posted on nj.com.
The Haddonfield girls also grabbed a No. 1 seed, earning top honors in the 13-team Group 2 field. The Bulldawgs receive a first round bye, and host the winner of the game between No. 8 Pemberton and No. 9 Sterling on Nov. 7.

West Deptford is the No. 2 seed. The Eagles received a bye, and face the winner of the game between No. 7 Cedar Creek and No. 10 Deptford.
No. 6 Haddon Heights hosts No. 10 Buena in the first round on Monday, with the winner advancing to face No. 3 Woodstown.

The Haddon Township boys scored arguably their biggest win of the season last week when it defeated previously unbeaten West Deptford, 5-2.
West Deptford earned the top seed in the Group 2 boys' playoffs. The No. 1 seeded Eagles will host No. 16 Bridgeton on Tuesday in the first round.
The winner of that game will face the winner of the game between No. 8 Haddon Heights and No. 9 Deptford on Nov. 8.
Haddonfield was seeded fourth and will host No. 3 Barnegat in the first round on Tuesday. The winner faces either No. 5 Sterling or No. 12 Pleasantville in the quarterfinals.
Collingswood was seeded No. 11 and will visit No. 6 Buena on Tuesday.
The Haddon Township girls are seeded No. 4 in Group 1, and will host No. 13 Wildwood in the opening round on Monday.
