Haddonfield Fireworks Show Switches Locations; Nearby Property Owners Denied Permission

Haddonfield's Fourth of July fireworks display won't take off from the usual spot.

HADDONFIELD, NJ — Haddonfield's Fourth of July fireworks will have a new home, moving to the former Bancroft school campus.

The fireworks typically take off from the Central/Middle School fields. But this year, property owners in the fallout zone didn't grant permission for fireworks use in the area, according to borough officials.

"As a result, in accordance with State regulations and staffing/volunteer capacity," the borough's Facebook page said, "the Borough is now required to relocate both the event and the fireworks to the area near Haddonfield Memorial High School."
