Haddonfield, Haddon Basketball Teams To Play In Holiday Tourneys

The holidays aren’t just for giving, receiving and celebrating new starts; it’s also a time when the state’s basketball teams come together for their annual holiday tournaments.

The Haddonfield Memorial High School boys basketball team will compete in a pair of showcase games at the Washington Township Showcase at Washington Township High School in Gloucester County later this week.

Haddonfield will play Egg Harbor Township on Friday, Dec. 28, noon. It will play Willingboro 24 hours later, on Saturday, Dec. 29, noon.

The Haddon Township boys will compete in the Wolverine Tournament at Woodstown High School later this week.

Haddon Township will play Clayton in the first game of the tournament on Thursday, Dec. 27, 1:30 p.m. Woodstown will host Hammonton in the second game at 5 p.m. The winners will play on Friday, Dec. 28, 3:15 p.m. The consolation game is set for Friday at 11:45 a.m.
