Haddonfield, Haddon Township Baseball Teams Begin Playoff Runs Monday

Both the Haddonfield and Haddon Township high school baseball teams begin their playoff quests on Monday.

Haddonfield is the No. 2 seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 playoffs, according to the bracket posted on nj.com. The Bulldawgs will host No. 15 Lower Cape May in the first round on Monday, May 22. Haddonfield enters the tournament with a record of 13-6.Lower Cape May is 4-14. The winner will face the winner of the game between No. 7 Cinnaminson and No. 10 Collingswood on May 25.

Haddon Township is the No. 8 seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 1, and will host No. 9 Woodstown in the first round on Monday, May 22, according to the bracket posted on nj.com. Haddon Township is 11-11. Woodstown is 12-9. The winner will face the winner of the game between top-seeded Audubon and No. 16 Wildwood in the second round on May 25.

The semifinals for both tournaments are set for May 30, with both championship games scheduled for June 2.
