Haddonfield, Haddon Township Swim Teams Set For The Playoffs

The Haddonfield girls are the No. 2 seed, while the Haddonfield and Haddon Township boys could meet up in the second round.

The Haddonfield High School girls’ swim team grabbed the No. 1 seed in this year’s playoffs, according to unofficial matchups posted on nj.com this week.

The Bulldawgs will host No. 8 Middle Township in the first round. The winner faces the winner of the meet between No. 4 Moorestown and No. 5 Central Regional.

All first round meets must be completed by Feb. 6.

If the Bulldawgs advance to the finals as their seed indicates they should, they would likely meet No. 2 Ocean City. First, the Red Raiders must get by No. 7 Oakcrest. The winner of that meet faces either No. 3 Mainland or No. 6 GCIT.

Both the Haddonfield and Haddon Township boys’ teams qualified for the playoffs, and may meet in the second round, according to nj.com.

First, the second-seeded Bulldogs would have to get by No. 7 Middle Township. No. 6 Haddon Township visits No. 3 Moorestown in the first round.

Mainland grabbed the top seed, and will host No. 8 Central Regional in the first round. No. 4 Ocean City and No. 5 Woodstown round out the field.
